Letter to a US Soldier

Letter to an American Soldier in the Middle East

11/22/2004

Let us first state how much our families and we appreciate your sacrifice and bravery.

I am writing to you so you can avoid being tricked by one of the standard deceptions Muslims use to “prove how peaceful Islam is.”

They misquote Qur’an 5:32 the very same way the young Muslim student whom you mentioned in your blog. They say that the Qur’an tells us “He who kills a single person kills all of mankind, he who saves a single life, saves all mankind.”

Even your Commander-in-Chief has tried to deceive us by using this same quote in a speech to the world about the “War on Terror.” Whether the deception was intentional or not is irrelevant. As President of the United States and having sent Americans into harm’s way to fight “Islamic terrorism,” being uninformed is as reprehensible as being deceptive.

President Bush, and now President Obama, and Islamic apologists leave out the exception portion of Qur’an 5:32. Here is the verse from the Noble Qur’an:

Qur’an 5:32 “We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land – it would be as if he killed all mankind,…”

The Qur’an defines “mischief makers” as those who reject Islam or oppose its goals. So, the verse is actually saying that he who kills a Muslim kills all of mankind.

This omission by itself is enough to reveal the deception at play when the verse is quoted in the way this student did.

However, it gets MUCH worse.

The very next verse in the Qur’an tells Muslims exactly how to handle these exceptions. Again, from the Noble Qur’an:

Qur’an 5:33 “The recompense of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off on the opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the Hereafter.”

So, it wasn’t enough that this edict to not kill only applies to the children of Israel. Islam needed to give a menu of tortures and painful deaths for Muslims to inflict upon those who dared defend themselves – often against sieging Muslims. This passage of peace also assures Muslims that those whom they brutally torture will not have their pain end upon their death. Allah, in an oft-repeated theme in Islam, has a special sadistic eternity of torture for those who do not submit to him.

Everyone, especially someone on the front lines in the Middle East, should take the time to research Islam. Once you do, you will realize that this doctrine and those who force its evil upon others, are the real enemy.

The “War on Terror” is a joke. We have declared war on a tactic rather than its source – Islam. It’s like waging war on Kamikazes instead of Imperialist Japan, or Blitzkrieg instead of Nazi Germany.

As you have likely experienced, not all Muslims are bad. Many are very good people. However, they are by Islamic definition, “hypocrites” – very bad Muslims – and “good” Muslims are told that these apostates are even worse than Christians and Jews. You can read what Muhammad and Allah have to say about them in the Peaceful Muslims section of the Islamic Quotes area of Prophet of Doom.

If you are interested in being more informed and helping your fellow brothers and sisters in arms, your country, Muslims, and non-Muslims more effectively fight terrorism, it is critical that you be informed about Muhammad and Islam. As a soldier, you of all people can appreciate the need to know your enemy. In this regard, we hope that Prophet of Doom will prove to be a tremendous weapon against Islamic terrorism. For truth and knowledge, not bullets, are the best weapon against this enemy.

Please stay safe and may Yahweh help you confront the troubles and tests that lay ahead.

Sincerely,

The Prophet of Doom Team

  1. The letter idea is really a gentle nudge in to truth. It’s not over powering and not overt. The letter is quite a good idea. This is something that should be considered for each one of us to do. Find a unit and send some letters. Try to get to know a soldier. Some may be able to do this and some may not. But a letter is very personal. Especially, if the letter is NOT typed, but hand written. It gives a lot of mood to the person reading it, because ones handwriting changes with the mood.
