Only here in United State of America is Possible to rant and discuss and debate and not shoot or blow one another. It is a healthy practice to debate even within one’s own party.

Well here it is as it was reported from which was picked up from Politico. Kristol, Beck Thrust, and Parry in Philosophical Duel Monday, 07 Feb 2011 05:39 PM Article Font Size William Kristol, editor of The Weekly Standard, has criticized Fox News’ Glenn Beck for his comments on the Mideast. And Beck fought back on his radio show Monday, accusing Kristol of abandoning conservative principles and failing to understand what Beck sees as a powerful alliance between Islamism and socialism, Politico reports.

William Kristol

Here’s what Kristol wrote: “When Glenn Beck rants about the caliphate taking over the Middle East from Morocco to the Philippines, and lists [invents?] the connections between caliphate-promoters and the American left, he brings to mind no one so much as Robert Welch and the John Birch Society.” Kristol suggested that such argumentation would end up marginalizing Beck, as some figures on the right have done in the past.

National Review editor Rich Lowry agreed with Kristol’s observations, Politico noted, in a rare smack down to Beck from the right.

Glenn Beck Beck, who raised questions among some when he appeared on his TV show Friday carrying a staff and wearing a brown robe much like Charlton Heston playing Moses, returned his own volley to Kristol, responding on his radio show: “I don’t even know if you understand what conservatives are anymore, Billy. People like Bill Kristol, I don’t think they stand for anything anymore. All they stand for is power. They’ll do anything to keep their little fiefdom together, and they’ll do anything to keep the Republican power entrenched.” Read more on Kristol, Beck Thrust and Parry in Philosophical Duel Important: Do You Support Pres.
