“I fell to my knees when I saw her. I’m a Christian and I believe this was from God.” -Analia Bouter
(Argentina)–Analia Bouter was 26 weeks pregnant when she gave birth to her fifth child in the town of Resistencia. Doctors reportedly said the baby had no vital signs and sent the parents home with a death certificate.
Twelve hours later, Bouter and her husband decided to go to the morgue to view their baby, but according to a report in Clarin newspaper, “When a worker opened the drawer, we heard a cry and she was alive.” (Photo: Alamy)
Bouter was quoted as saying, “My baby was born at 10:24 am and at 11:05 am was already in the drawer. She spent 12 hours in the freezing cold of that morgue. I saw for myself the ice on her body.”
According to a Daily Mail report, Bouter, who said the joy of knowing her daughter is alive is covering “every other feeling,” will be naming the baby Luz Milagros, which means Light Miracles.
As for the hospital staff, director Jose Luis Meirino said, “At the moment we have no explanation. The baby was attended to by obstetricians, gynecologists and a neonatologist. They all reached the same conclusion, that this girl was stillborn.”
