The military justice system demands justice for our troops. It does not
permit revenge upon them to curry favor with others, even our enemies.
The burning of an unstated number of Korans in Afghanistan and the aftermath have been much in the news. However, little has been reported factually about who did it, who if anyone told them to do it and/or why.
