Iranian Word press Bloger arrested in Tehran?
Rumor Has it that the Fellow blogger, which blog’s from Iran and posts at” theran24. Word Press.com”, was arrested Friday night. the report is not yet verified either way. So the faith of this brave young man is not yet known.
His name is Amir sadeghi, a Photojournalist from Tehran. He maintains a Photo Blog at ” Word Press” Blog site, and when the out cry of Iranian people broke out last week after the Iran Presidential election, Mr. sadeghi started posting photos of city under siege. I came across the site by accident and got hooked. Excellent format and great photos. I received the following e-mail from his site comment area. My thought and prayers are with him and his family. And praying that God return him home soon. Please spread the news out in Internet. Go to his site and ck out the pictures, they speak volume about kindness of this so called regime.

I got an email from one of his loved ones, Amir and some friends did not return last night and were arrested. I have spoken with the Iranian television station people and we ARE going to get the word out today on their TV station about his disappearance. Please stay strong.

International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran advises that anything identifying him be removed from the internet.
Hi, I’ve been trying to find Amir sadeghi on the internet, this is how I came to realize he had disappeared. I’ll also write a post about him, he is a very good photographer and above all a very brave man. There’s nothing we can do right now, but at least we can let his family know that not only his work had a great impact but that there are people for whom his courage is source of inspiration.
I am hearing more on Amir. One, that he was allowed to speak to his family via phone. And two, that he may be released soon. This is from my news source in Iran who is reliable. But now Mahmoud is arresting all the university professors…

I got another email, they said that the government is not releasing the names of those arrested, so the family is looking for him, but don’t know where he is…

I got the email from a member of his family, they want everyone to know he has not returned yet… and fear his arrest… I was working with Amir on a video called SONG FOR IRAN which is how I recently came into contact with him… I have alerted the local Iranian tv station about it and forwarded the email…
